Echoes & Reflections | UI/UX

When initially launching the lesson plans section for Echoes & Reflections, a desktop only version was created because of the extensive volume of information within the site.

I was tasked to build an adaptive mobile design with educators in mind to provide a simple, informative experience. The mobile site’s information architecture and navigation facilitate a seamlessly-layered visitor journey.

Website traffic increased 44% — with the largest gains on mobile due to the implementation of mobile lesson plans.
Mobile use rose 40% in 6 months.
 
 

 
The sales page was introduced to promote targeted communication between the Echoes team and potential hosts of in-person and virtual programs. They were seeking a solution that consolidated necessary information and resources in one place in order to ramp up these programs.

A number of countries maintain laws requiring the presentation of information concerning actions of the Nazis during the Holocaust. In the United States, laws of this kind are maintained by individual states and typically specify curriculum content and the ages of the students to which the information is to be presented.

This type of map didn’t exist anywhere, so it was an opportunity for Echoes to lead with new interactive content.
